“Susie has been a perfect speech and language pathologist for my daughter, Katie, who has Down syndrome. Katie is now 27 and still sees Susie occasionally, after more than 20 years of therapy. Our daughter’s needs are very complex and Susie has made a huge difference in her life, enabling her to have good self-esteem and lots of friends. Katie works at three offices and participates in Phame Academy for fine arts. Susie has been ever patient and creative in her therapy, keeping it fun and functional to fit Katie’s interests and needs. She has met us in her office and out in the community to practice speech intelligibility. As a mom, I have especially appreciated the extra time and attention to problem solving and improving Katie’s quality of life at school, in the workplace, and at home. It’s very apparent that Susie loves her clients and her work, and gives 100% effort. On a scale of 1 to 10, Susie rates a 10 with us!
